Speed up an imac mid 2009
Hi!
Which are the ways to speed up an imac mid 2009?
An external ssd disc? Is the usb ports fast enough?
Can I use the imac as a secondary screen to my macbook pro mid 2012?
An external SSD would only slow it down as a 2009 is limited by USB 2 and Firewire and I've never heard of a FW external SSD. The ONLY thing that will speed up a 2009 which is VERY VERY old now is an internal SSD. To be completely honest though, a 2009 should be replaced rather than spending ANY money on it.
