Woolworths Rewards card closes digital wallet after scanning
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max (iOS 16.2), but this issue was also occurring on my iPhone 11 Pro Max.
I double-click the sleep button (right side of device) to open the digital wallet and select Woolworths Rewards card. After I scan the Woolworths Rewards card the digital wallet closes which means I have to double-click to open the digital wallet to select a card to pay for my goods.
I contacted Woolworths Rewards and they said they haven't heard of this happening before and that I should contact Apple. I have done the steps I found in some instructions on the Apple site when you're having an issue with a third-party app. These steps were:
- Close and re-open app.
- Restart your device.
- Check for updates.
- Delete the app, then re-download it.
Today I went to Woolworths to see whether these steps have resolved the issue, but no, the digital wallet still closes after I scan the Woolworths Rewards card.
I have also removed the Woolworths Rewards card from my digital wallet and re-added it but this hasn't resolved the issue.
I have a Coles Flybuys card that I can scan and the digital wallet remains open so I can select the card I want to pay with. This to me suggests that the issue lies with the Woolworths Rewards card, but I'm hoping someone may have an answer for me. Thanks in anticipation.
