My inbox for comcast emails suddenly dumped all emails on my iPhone and iPad and were not found in trash folder, though emails I have deleted up to a week ago are still in the trash folder. Is there a way to recover this mysterious data dump? I recently updated to iso 16.3 Also, the emails are not in the inbox or trash folder in my online Comcast email account.
Ok, what exactly caused the inbox deletion on my iPhone comcast account I'm not sure, but I was finally able to get past the comcast service bots to a live agent and they were able to create a restore folder in my online comcast mail account and retrieve my deleted emails.

Well, this certainly indicates the issue involves Comcast, and not your Apple equivalent. Contact them.
One would think so, but their response is it may be a device issue as the iPhone manages the comcast account.
