January 2023. This new update is horrible for the books app. No page totals, no clock at the top, no number of pages left in the chapter.

can I revert my whole iPad back to the previous update so I can get my old books app back?

mom still sad they took away the old school bookshelves the books were on, and now they take away my page information.

How to revert books app to iOS 15 i upgraded to iOS 16. But it effected the books app. It made the page turning worse and now there is no fast highlighting. ie in previous version you have sleek page turn, now you have flash page turn. in the past you can quick highlight with pressure and time on certain sentences. Now requires two button pushes.

Hating the latest Apple BOOKS app update! I loooove reading my books on my iPads! I have a great newer iPad with 2TB and yet I still want to throw it with this app! The books rarely start where I left off. Highlight feature doesn’t always work or land where it should. I hate that they took away the sliding feature fore brightness and font size. Page turning….page numbers…how many pages left to a chapter….oh my gosh the list goes on! Who came up with this update? Is there ever going to be a real fix for it? I’ve waited patiently thinking..this can’t be how they are going to leave it! HELP!

I cannot exit Apple Books application after recent upgrade When I finished my book in the application, I cannot exit out to my Library nor my Store to buy more books. PS - I really do not like the new upgrade. It is hard to touchfind the icons, and to search for previous bookmarks, or see how many pages are left. It’s so glitchy. Any way to return to the old version? Both iphone and ipad
