I never quite understand why people only answer this question at face value.
Yes, the previous reply you got is absolutely correct, the Apple Pencil is not compatible with any Mac... BUT!!
If you have access to an Apple Pencil-compatible iPad (it doesn't need to be a particularly fancy one) you can sidecar it to your Mac, and then voilà, you can now – in a 'jailbreaky' kind of way – indeed use your Apple Pencil with your Mac.
