AppStore Says Open Instead of Install After Manual Delete of App on MacBook

On my MacBook pro, I manually deleted an app in order to download and reinstall it. Now the App Store says "Open" instead of Install, so I can't open it (because I deleted it) and I can't install it.

I searched all my directories for anything related to the app and deleted all I could find, and that didn't help. I tried clicking the app from the App Store, which didn't help. I tried restarting my Mac, and that did not help either.
