Sharing workout activity not working

My iPhone and apple watch are both not showing my boyfriends invites or workout activity.

If I send him an invite, it shows and notifies on his Apple Watch and phone. He will add me, and see all of my workout activity. But, I don’t see his workout activity on my watch or phone.

If he sends me an invite, it doesn’t show on my phone or watch. I don’t get notified, and it never gets sent or shared. It works when I send him the invite, but not when he sends me the invite.

Our phones and watches have all of the current updates. I signed out of iCloud and signed back in. Nothing is working ! I even got a new watch, but still nothing works!! 😭😭😭
