How to cancel AppleCare for my Apple Watch?

How do I cancel apple care on a watch I bought with apple card. I have tried and failed.

Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support

then I would reach out to apple directly

Get Support (apple.com)

and or

Contact - Official Apple
