Another way to find that information would be to perform a 'Search' within the Apple Community for either 'Apple Mail' or 'Ventura Mail' or Mail 16.0'. I've personally seen a substantial amount of posts since 13.2 about Mail problems.

In addition to the very wise suggestions by P. Phillips may I offer some thoughts on automatic updates: if you use your Mac for business you may not want to automatically update each time one is offered for the system. That is in case there may be some incompatibilities with important apps used for your business.

A better approach, IMO, would be to get an external SSD, clone your boot drive to it with Carbon Copy Cloner and when a system update or upgrade is available apply to it and run on it to see if there are any problems with any of the important apps.

I use a bare 1 TB SSD with a USB to SATA adaptor cable like this as it's less expensive that one with it's own enclosure and cable.

It's also easy to swap out SSDs for other systems or storage.
