Run-time error ’53’: File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM

I was able to fix the Run-time error ’53’: File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM for all my Microsoft Apps by uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office for Mac as shown with the following error message below when trying to open up a Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel document.

This occurs through an incompatible Adobe Add-on. I was able to fix this problem by completely removing Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office for Mac.

Instructions for completely removing Adobe Acrobat Professional from your computer at:

I then deleted all the junk from the trash.

Afterward, I first reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Professional and afterward installed Microsoft Office for Mac and the problem disappeared.

If you run into problems you could try Uninstaller PRO 11 since it opened up on my computer when trying to delete my Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Good Luck. I hope this helps.

Rather than a complete uninstall/reinstall, which can lead to other problems, this simple file deletion worked for me:
