I’ve been trying to get my watch to sync my temperature unit to Celsius. Before getting my watch, my app was already set to Celsius. It syncs weather conditions but not the unit. I’ve tried restarting both, changing back and forth between F and C. It’s not doing what everyone says it should. I’ve also double checked my watch app says it is reflecting my setup in the watch from the phone.
I reset my watch. I noticed that my 3rd watch face was also missing from my watch app. Beside the point, after reset it worked when I changed the temperature unit. The watch and iPhone weather apps both had some trouble switching the 'current location' unit after switching back to Celsius. It eventually worked, but I couldn't open the Current location in my iPhone, it just hung until I closed it.
I think at some point when I was setting things up for the first week or so, something happened that broke the sync.

Your watch gets this information from your iPhone. Make sure you have C as the setting on the weather app on your iPhone. Then on the Apple Watch App on your iPhone, open Weather and make sure Mirror my iPhone is selected.
You want to restart both your iPhone and watch after you've made sure both settings are set up correctly.
I had never tried it until now. I changed from F to C on my Weather App Settings in Settings on iPhone. Restarted my watch and the weather now reports in C on my watch.
I just changed back to F from C and it was still showing in C, until I tapped the weather complication on my watch screen directly and it went back to F as I would prefer.
I don't like to throw in the towel on anyone, but I don't see where you're doing anything wrong here. I'd reach out to Apple directly for more guidance.
OK. On your iPhone, open the Settings App. Tap Privacy & Security. Tap Location Services. Make sure Weather is marked While Using.

What weather app are you using on your iPhone, which is displaying the temp in C? Is it the official Apple Weather App, which looks like this?
Try setting it to While Using. That's how it is on my iPhone and the metrics are correct on my iPhone and Apple Watch.
I don’t mean to be rude, but it sounds like you didn’t read my question at all. I already explained that I did the restart and that reflection is set in my phone. If you’re going to try and help at least read the whole thing and understand what I’m saying before you reply thank you.
I tried it again exactly as you said, and I'm still seeing C in iPhone Weather app and F in watch app.
I apologize for the way I replied to you, I know you are trying to help. But, there seems to be a lot of first replies that only seem to address the subject and not the body of a question in this community. I doubt anyone appreciates a response that infantilizes by telling them to do what they've already done.
Like most tech support would do, turn it on and off, make sure it's updated (I don't know if there is a bug fix or change log for OS updates, but what I've found for the watch is not easy to peruse), etc. It goes doubly for me as a techie and programmer by trade. I get that users often aren't 'using it right'. But, I've tried this a couple times now and it's not working.
It is. And I see the current weather conditions for my current location. What I don't see is all the cities I track. It is as if the weather app in my watch is getting it's own information, but ignoring the configuration of the Weather app on my iPhone.
I just installed WatchOS 9.3. That didn't help. I then tried switching to while using app, and restarted the iPhone. That didn't help. I tried restarting the watch afterwards, and it didn't help either. When you open your weather app and change the temperature unit, does it change on the clock face/weather app in the watch for you?
I agree. I appreciate you sticking around to help. I am having a similar issue with the sleep data. Other apps are working fine, I get notifications from Outlook... I just tried setting deleting all sleep schedules on my iPhone and watch and creating a new one on the watch. I tried to force it to sync that and it wasn't having any of it.
I think notifications are working, phone calls come through, but it may be that apps are not actually synchronizing.
Wow. I told you what to do, not just to restart your devices.
I suggest you call Apple for help, since my help wasn't to your expectations.
It is set to Always with precise location on.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to guide you to the right solution. Once you get Apple involved though, please come back with the resolution so others can benefit from it.
