Keyboard shortcuts in Music on Mac don't work

I am using a macbook pro OS 12.5 with Music 1.2.5.7

The macbook is used closed and connected to an LG monitor via cable and a Logitech MX Keys keyboard via bluetooth.

When using Mac Music, I find that none of the keyboard shortcuts work. When I look at the Music menu bar under Controls, all of the keyboard symbols are greyed out.

Any idea why the shortcuts are not working in this situation?

To isolate the issue further, we'd recommend testing with a different keyboard to see if that changes anything. You can find more information on troubleshooting keyboard issues here: If your Mac doesn’t respond to key presses - Apple Support

If the issue is only occurring with that keyboard specifically, we'd recommend reaching out to Logitech for further assistance.
