Shift let attached to Mission Control

I want to unbind the Left Shift key from opening Mission Control and thats it. Is there any way to do this?

mission control I'm trying to switch between desktops/spaces by using control-right arrow or control-left arrow and it's not working. How can I switch between desktops using key commands?

You'll find the key mapping in System Preferences > Mission Control.
