Hi,
Perhaps I’m missing something but how does your Website Feedback link address David’s concern with possibly changing the iPhone default photo file naming ?
It appears your link deals with any Apple website issues as opposed to a feature or design request.
I for one, share David’s concern especially knowing that other phone manufacturers eg. Samsung use an internationally recognized file naming convention based on date timestamp as a default file name for all photos eg. YYMMDD_HHMMSS.<ext> or some variant.
I’m guessing there must be a reason why Apple has chosen not to implement such a seemingly simple design solution, but for the life of me, have no clue why they haven’t in all these years !!
Surely such a basic user improvement must have been already fed back through the appropriate design channels in the past. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks for any help.
