iPhone X's Firmware Corrupt?

Hey everyone,

So, I've grabbed my iPhone X out of a drawer again, it's been probably 3 years since I've last used it. I've tried restoring it, and iTunes hung at the "Restoring Firmware" Part, and iTunes stopped responding. Then after 3 hours iTunes was still unresponsive, and the iPhone still wasn't finished. So, I've yanked out the cable, and tried restoring it again. Now it does not start anymore.

My question is:

Is the Firmware, aka BIOS, bricked? I've tried everything, from Force restarting, to contacting Apple Support. Nothing helped.

Can anybody help me with that?

Thanks in Advance.

Try to connect it in Recovery Mode, as explained in this article:

If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

In case restoring the iPhone does stops again during the process, your iPhone hardware might be defective.

Also make sure to use the original Apple USB cable.
