Macbook Freezing when removing docking station

Hi, I have this model of Macbook https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.6-six-core-16-2019-scissor-specs.html

When I connect my Alogic Universal Docking Station - DX3 Triple 4K Display it connects fine

However when removing the USB C cable and opening the lid, the laptop freezes, it then requires a hard reset to operate again

The issue started happening recently, we also updated the MacOS Venture around the same time.

There is a update 13.2 which we are running tonight and will check back tomorrow

I'm also yet to PRAM and SMC reset

Other than updates and PRAM / SMC what other troubleshooting can I do

Hi newsys,

Updating to the latest macOS would be the best step to take outside of resetting the NVRAM and SMC.
