iMessages on macbook pro keep coming back

I have a Macbook Pro 15" running Big Sur 11.3 and use iCloud for txt messasges. I can delete on my

iPhone and they go away. If I delete on my laptop, they come back. I've signed out of iCloud messages on both devices and reconnected.. Still come back only on my laptop. I've done this countless times. How can I delete the messages from iCloud?

Hi dlogcher,

If your MacBook Pro is running macOS Big Sur 11.3, is it not on the latest version of macOS Big Sur. The latest version is currently macOS Big Sur 11.7.3. Not being up to date can cause many unexpected behaviors such as the one you are describing. We'd recommend updating the macOS and testing to see if this continues to occur.

  1. Go to the Apple menu (  ) > System Preference
  2. Tap Software Update

Hope that helps!
