In settings, my AirPod Pro shows its connected yet there is no sound in my ear. 100% charged. My husband just called. I heard his ring in my ear yet when I answered, his voice did not come through the airpod

Does music work? You might try a full reset:
If no help, and they seem to be connected, try this:
1) Open the Control Center
2) Long press on the music controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select AirPods
