My start page works but the icons are not colored or displayed however you wanna say

Please take a full window screenshot of your Desktop to show us what you're experiencing and post it in your reply. That looks like an Apple image of an iMac. Shift+Command+3 will give you a full screenshot like this:
That way we can see exactly what you're referring to and not have to guess.
Please try restarting in Safe Mode and then restart normally and re-test. If that does not work, please call AppleCare.
Are you referring to the Dock and are you saying you cannot see the icons in the Dock? Finally, what version of Mac OS is installed???
Show us a screenshot of *your* Mac, a picture from Apple's marketing department does not help us much.
NO THE START PAGE WITH SAVE FAVORITES ICON can still access but no picture. Big Sur CANNOT GO ANY FURTHER
