High CPU on any video tasks

After the update to Ventura (13.2 at the moment) I'm getting very high CPU usage followed by high temperatures and throttling on any video-related task - YouTube playback, Google Meet or Zoom calls etc. Generally I'm on latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. As a side-effect of this I'm getting sound starting cracking.

I'm using this laptop for 1.5 years and did not experience any issues with multi-tasking (it's pretty capable Intel i9, 32GB RAM machine) - had a bunch of apps running at the same time + video calls was fine.

During that the laptop becomes basically unusable (everything is lagging even the mouse pointer).

Any ideas on any good way to fix that somehow?

It may depend on what ALL is running at the same time what this issue occurs.

That, only the user would know.

Although, the maybe some Processes that are running behind the scene that are not Visible present like a Open Application.

Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid from added features.
