Just like the title says, I’d love to know if there’s some way to turn off the feature that makes a video rewind or jump forward when I swipe across the screen while the video is in fullscreen. I’ve triggered it by accident many times, often while picking up or putting down my phone, and it’s really annoying.

I actually like the feature for one hand use. I noticed it is gone in ios17. Can it just be a option/toggle to satisfy both user base?

Trash? Quit touching your screen, the feature is nice, makes it easy to scroll to videos

This is the most annoying feature I wish it could be disabled
Agree, it's absurd that you can't disable this feature. Not even once it was helpful but I keep forwarding videos by accident all the time, so annoying!
