My new Mac is connected to a Wi-Fi that provides working internet access to the home’s devices including another Mac, four iPhones and a Samsung tv. The new computer is set up, connected to the Wi-Fi but just doesn’t connect to the internet. The recommendations in the article did not help. Are there other options?

Yes, it does seem to be computer specific.
1 last suggestion might be trying to connect to public WiFi (Starbucks, etc).
If that fails, then I would make an appointment at an Apple Store to get the hardware checked out.

Are you connected to the same router that the other devices are connected to? Or could you be connected to a random/different router?

Thank you for the response! The new computer is connected to the same router. I’ve disconnected and reconnected Wi-Fi, and tried other wireless network in the house. So it seems computer specific.
