I recently moved my 50k pictures to icloud, and i want to erase them from my phone, but when im about to do it, it says a message like this one ¨if you delete this pictures it gonna be delited from all icloud devices¨ so im scared to loose them.
ICloud is a “syncing” service, so your concerns are warranted; normally deleting from your phone WILL delete them from iCloud and EVERY OTHER device sync’d to your iCloud account.
The way to prevent this is to turn off iCloud syncing of your iPhone photos BEFORE deleting them from your phone.
See: Settings -> iCloud (Name) -> Photos -> Sync this Phone.
The downside is that any photos taken going forward will NOT sync and will be forever lost if your phone is lost or damaged.
