AirPods Pro 2 Gen beeping

Hello all

just bought brand new AirPods Pro gen 2 and paired it to my iPhone pro Max 12

(and to my other phone), since the last few days the AirPods case is beeping and flashing randomly at least once a day like someone is searching for it while nobody did, what can I do to stop it?

That is some strange behavior, and we'd like to help however we can. Let's start with ruling out some possible causes, along with gathering more details to better understand what's happening:

When did this start to happen with your AirPods?
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. Check out the section ‘Restart your Mac' here: Shut down or restart your Mac
Since you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.3. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
Have you tested for this same issue while paired with a different device other than your two phones?
