Series 6 or 8 WT...
I just purchased a new Series 8 watch directly from Apple.com but when I set it up on my computer it shows it is a Series 6 watch WT??? Can anyone tell me if they are one in the same and why?

Apple watch cannot be set up on a computer, so I don't have a clue what your computer could be telling you. And no, a series 8 is not the same as a Series 6. You set up Apple Watch with your iPhone. And on your iPhone there is the Watch App. Assuming you have set up the watch with your iPhone, you open the Watch App, tap My Watch on the bottom left, then General > About and then you'll see Model. Tap it and it will change to something likely starting with A followed by 4 numbers. Post that back and we can confirm the model.
