is daisy disk safe to use on mac

I have Daisy Disk installed, but after seeing some warnings about using CleanMyMac, I thought I would ask about this program, Daisy Disk, and if it is safe to use.

Daisy Disk from the Mac App store is OK for viewing what is using space on your Mac. However, you should never use third-party software to delete files from your Mac in order to free up disk space.

If you are running low on disk space, see > Free up storage space on your Mac - Apple Support

Plus you are wise to not install junk-ware like CleanMyMac and MacKeeper on your Mac.

I knew about the CleanMy Mac advice, thank you. I've deleted that, based upon earlier comments I saw on this community. Glad it is here to get good advice!
