Security: "signed" Apple mail sent going into recipients spam/junk

Email messages sent from my apple mail account are gong into recipients spam/junk. I have noticed that many of my outgoing messaged are tagged with "Security: signed" with a white checkmark in a black circle. Not sure if this correlated to the issue...Wondering if anyone has a suggestion?

Hey sethwilldo,

It sounds like you have a personal certificate in your keychain, which is a digitally signed message that lets recipients verify your identity as the sender: Sign or encrypt emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

According to that support article "Some mailing lists reject digitally signed messages because the signature is treated as an attachment. If this happens, click the signed icon in your message; an x replaces the checkmark, indicating the message will be sent unsigned."

Let us know if this helps! Take care.
