Iphone 13 mini Camera-Portrait mode-focal length and metadata

I am using the iPhone 13 mini camera in Portrait mode, I adjusted the depth of field and took three images at a different aperture values : f/1.4, f/9 and f/16.

The data of the three images shows f 1.6. These do not represent the camera setups .

Is there anything wrong?

How can be fixed?

There is no way to set aperture on iPhones; you can use the different lenses (each with a different f stop) but the lenses will use their native aperture. So nothing is wrong. The app may display a "virtual f/" but that is AI, not actual.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. You can check your phone's specs and see the fixed apertures for each lens.

The portrait mode uses AI to simulate different apertures but it is not like a real camera where you can set the aperture.
