Local notes missing.

Hi everyone, i need help locating my notes that i've saved in my computer. I was able to view both my notes from my iCloud account as well as local notes. But somehow suddenly I'm not able to switch between my iCloud notes and local. I've tried looking into the notes preferences but i couldn't figure it out. The only thing i did recently was to upgrade my MacOS to Monterey (12.6.3) but i was still able to view it till a couple of days ago. Please help, thanks a bunch. Cheers.
