How can i bypass sim not supported and check if my iphone is locked to a carrier?

Only the carrier, whom that iPhone is locked to, can unlock it, if you're eligible, as per this support article:--> How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
That said, check Settings>General>About>Carrier....
