I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation (2020) and I plan to travel to 4 countries all supporting esim (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and India). I was wondering if I can add 4 esims to the phone or do I have to delete the esim after each use after I leave a country? I will be using the esim for data mostly.

You will have to delete the second eSIM in order to enter another one. An alternative would be to use Wi-Fi for the data instead. There are many places that provide free Wi-Fi, hotels, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. That's what I mostly use while traveling.

That means I will have to erase the eSIM after I leave the country to install a new one for the next country then?
I will be keeping my physical SIM card for my home country for when I return and use esim only to travel.
I had read it, thank you. It did not mention about multiple countries though. I will be country hopping.
