Search for Police Scotland brings up Amazon!

I was trying to assist a stranger whose purse had been stolen by trying to get advice about how this person could get home. I tried to look up Police Scotland on my iPhone but all I was getting was Amazon which I had been looking at earlier. I tried deleting Amazon from the address field but it kept returning. The distressed stranger left after I suggested the nearby public library might be able to locate information. Police Scotland's 101 number had a ten minute wait time so that was not much good either.

I know the stranger might have been working a scam but I was giving "the benefit of the doubt".

How can I stop the Amazon phenomenon in future? Thanks for looking.
