Cox Email Account is causing my Mail App to crash within seconds of opening.

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. It's good to know that you've narrowed this down to the email account. We'd recommend that you delete this account from the Mail app and add it again this may help to address the issue you're facing. Follow the steps in the article below.

Log out of or remove email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

1. In the Mail app  on your Mac, choose Mail > Settings, then click Accounts.

2. Select an account, then click the Remove button .

Note: If the account is used by other apps on your Mac, you’re asked to remove the account in Internet Accounts settings. Click the button to open Internet Accounts, then turn Mail off for the account. To stop using the account in all apps, make sure the account is selected, then click the Remove button .

I'm having the same issue. I did get the app to work after going into cox mail online, cleaning out the inbox, removing the account from app and then adding again but a few days later same thing. Oddly, It creates the same issue with either the apple mail app OR Microsoft Outlook app. Seems to have surfaced after my Venture 13.2 update.
