Can’t get apps it has a restriction

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 13

What kind of restriction?

1.

Most apps require iOS 14 or later, so update your iPhone.

For sure check your iPhone model & iOS version -> Go to: Settings -> General -> About.

If it is an iPhone 6S you can update to iOS 15.7.3, you can check by reading this Apple article:

iPhone models compatible with iOS 12 -> iOS 16.

iPhone models compatible with iOS 15.5 – Apple Support (UK)

Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and Install.

 

You need about 6 GB device storage and good Service & Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.

If you have a connection problem or access restrictions, check ⤵️

You need to have a good Service & Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.


If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services

-> If you tried all of the above steps and you still can’t connect, contact Apple Support.


3.

Or if you have a problem with your payment method on your account, to resolve the problem you need to check also ⤵️

You may need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free.

If your payment method has expired, declined or failed, or a message says "There is a Billing Problem with a Previous Purchase"

3.

If your Apple ID is locked or disabled

-> Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication

4.

If you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes", there is a problem with your payment method on your account, to resolve the problem you need help from Apple support,  click -> contact Apple Support for help.


5.

If you get a message -> Your purchase could not be completed, you need to update your payment method or add a new one

  • If you want to change your card, add first the new card, then remove the old one.
  • or if you use your Apple ID balance, you need to set your Apple ID balance as your default payment.

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.

If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.

What kind of restriction?

1.

Most apps require iOS 14 or later, so update your iPhone.

For sure check your iPhone model & iOS version -> Go to: Settings -> General -> About.
