4th gen iPod shuffle battery problem

My 4th gen iPod Shuffle max charge capacity 75% but actual usage before reaching 10% is only 2 hours as opposed to normally about 15 hours when a unit is fully charged. Does it mean I need to change my battery?

Hi Castlepeak,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're unable to charge your iPod shuffle to 100% and the charge only lasts a couple hours.

It's likely that the battery has been consumed. Apple may have discontinued service for the iPod. You can learn more here: Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty - Apple Support
