I just update appletV 4K to tvos 16.3.1 also Homepod mini. Home app no longer connects to anything. There is either no response or the accessories continually update. All iPhone and MacBook software up to date. Anyone have this issue?

I fixed it but it was not what I was expecting. I have two Eve thermometers (one inside and one outside). They were not connecting. Actually nothing worked on the Eve app. (see Heatmiser in the next sentence which appeared on the Eve App but never connected.) I also have a Heatmiser-controlled central heating system with lots of lights attached to it. They too didn't connect in the Home App but they did work in the Heatmiser Neo app. I restarted the Heatmiser router and bingo it all come back (Home and Eve apps). It also connects almost immediately! I have update many AppleTVs over the years (I have 3 right now) and have never had the problem I described above. However I never had HomePod Minis before. Anyway, all I can suggest is that if there are any HomeKit routers on your system, try restarting them. Don't really know what else to say but if you do, I hope this helps. Bill

Interesting that a restart did work for you. I’ve restarted and removed my HomeKit routers countless times without success. In the end sadly only a new fresh setup from the ground up of my Apple Home solved it.
Hi William! You are not on your own. I’ve updated to TV OS and HomePod 16.3.1 at the same time. Now i have the same issue. The Home app is unable to fetch device infos like software versions and device states.
The connection to Phillips Hue fails and all my EVE devices (thread) stopped working.
Yikes. Well maybe I should have said that it works so far. I have a feeling that my HomePad Minis are not really connected the way they should (pointers have old names) but they function. I could have lived with my Heatmiser system running my heating and lights, but I was amazed that it worked (so far) after the restart. Thanks for getting back. Appreciate it.
