Have 2 homepods paired as stereo. They will not connect to apple tv. They will pair but music only comes out of one. This happened after apple tv ios update. HELP ?
Its fixed. HomePods work on apple tv and are paired as stereo.
I have an ipad 11, ipad mini, ipad 12, and an iphone. I was using the ipad 11 (newest device) when trying to fix the HomePod problem. Nothing worked.
Later in the evening I was using the ipad 12. This was the ipad I originally set everything up with. It air-played music to the homepods in stereo. The ipad 11 & iphone suddenly were able to airplay in stereo. The HomePods also work on apple tv too.
Does this problem I encountered relate to syncing amongst my devices ?
Good thing I didn’t listen to the Apple Service Rep & make a 60 mile round trip to an Apple Store in addition to spending lots of money for nothing.
First or second generation. Most recent ios update done. After update homepods stopped working with apple tv. They will not pair for stereo on airplay.
