Blocking Someone & Reading a Previous Text before they were Blocked

I have an unread text that I don’t want to have the sender see that I’ve read… I want to block them for awhile, then unblock them and read the earlier text… Will that text sent while they were unblocked still be there for me to read?

Edited Texts What’s the point of being able to unsend or edit a text message, if the person you sent it to can see that you edited it or unsent it. Doesn’t that defeats the whole purpose of being able to change it???

Can I see all sent messages from block contact after unblocking them? When I unblock a number from messages will I see the messages they sent in the time since I blocked them? I block an ex on Monday and unblock them on Thursday. can I see what they sent at that point?

After blocking someone you can always read the previous texts sent to them and received from them.
