It is not possible to downgrade iOS, but...


It is possible to downgrade in the short period of time between an update being released and until Apple stops signing it. The version before iOS 16.3, is iOS 16.2 and it will not be signed anymore - so right now there are no downgrade options.


Ex. iOS 16.3.1 is released, you update the same day. But immediately you experience an error, you can usually manage to downgrade back (in this case) to iOS 16.3.


So it is possible to downgrade. But only between two versions, and only for a very short time.
