gpg suite

Hello,

Few weeks ago I started receiving the following message on my Macbook Pro (MacBook Pro 13 inch, M2, 2022 / Ventura 13.2), multiple times during my sessions

"Background Items Added

"GPG Suite" added items that can run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings."

Since I couldn't resolve the issue simply by simply deactivating "GPG Suite" in the Login Settings, I tried to uninstall GPG suite ( it doesn't appear in the search anymore).

However, the message keeps popping up multiple times....

  1. it's extremely annoying
  2. No idea why since it doesn't appear to be install anymore

How can I resolve the issue, please?

Thanks for your help.

From within System Settings, General, Login Items.....Look for

an entry in the list that has a small 'i' within a circle. You can click on the 'i'

and it will open a finder window to the associated location. Or look in and

view the files in these locations (using TextEdit) to see if you can spot which

one it is. (Go to Finder, Go, enter /Library). Don't use your library from your username.

You can delete them but keep them in the Trash Can just in case so you can restore them

if it causes more problems.

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

And/Or....

/Library/StartupItems

~/Library/LaunchAgents

Thanks so much, finally the issue is resolved!

You may experience other problems or performance issues. You should uninstall CleanMyMac. Third party apps that claim to clean, protect, manage, boost performance, etc. are not needed. They use system resources while providing no benefit.
