I cannot remove an individual from a group in Contacts: in the menu the choice "remove from group" is grayed out. I have tried various other ways to achieve this without success. What am I doing wrong.
Monterrey, current update. My contacts are all in icloud.

Close and re-open the Contacts app. Then try it. It worked for me.
Highlite the Group then highlite the contact then use control plus mouse to get to DELETE.
When I do that--either right or left click or just mouse over--the only choices are: share, export, edit, or spotlight. Within edit there is no appropriate option.
thx. I am sure i did previously close and reopen without any change in Mail behavior. But, it did work this am.
