iPhone making copies of home screen

Does anyone know how to fix or why my iPhone is making a second home screen? You know how on your phone, you have the first "Page" then you can scroll right to see your other pages? Well, mine has started to make a copy of my first page. So, I have the exact same apps on two pages. Last night I tried "removing them from homepage" and when I woke up BOTH pages were gone, and I had to put the apps back manually. It was doing fine up until an hour ago. I've updated my iOS already. I've shut it down twice. Has anyone else experienced this?
