Loops program not with upgrade for GarageBand

Within GarageBand, there was a program called "Loops", not files, but like what is there now in Ringtone, Songwriter, Voice, etc., but i was called Loops. This program was perfect for mixing and blending MP3 files. Each track had exclusive controls from fade ins/outs, tones, echoes, etc. The only bad thing about the software was that you could not burn your files with tracks, meaning, the CD was one long track. The track markers would not burn to the CD with tracks enabled for some reason. Not a big deal.

NOW, this program is gone, old files/mixes will not open, and adding MP3's is no longer working, well they sound like an old record with the needle skipping. The software tools do not allow half the individual track features that Loops provided.

Does anyone know if this will ever be resolved, or possibly shed some light on what program works like Loops used to work in the new updated version of GarageBand?
