I keep receiving large duplicate emails

My iCloud account is receiving the same 22.7mb email which is duplicated generally every 2 minutes (sometimes 3) all day, every day when a local cafe (from whence they come) is open. The email includes an attached, very large jpeg to be used in advertising. It's been happening for 8 days now. There are periods of no emails but, in my opinion, these are when the owner closes her computer as they are out of the cafe's opening hours. I contacted the owner 5 times (before I received a reply) asking her to delete the email from her system. In her reply she stated that she had deleted all communication and hopes this fixes my ongoing internet problems.

I've made a rule that deletes emails from the cafe's address so I'm not seeing them on my 2021 MacBook Pro. However, I see them on my 2014 MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad for a few minutes before they're deleted.

Is there's anything more I can do? Is my iCloud storage being affected?. I'd also love to know why this might be happening. The cafe's email address is info@[nameofcafe.etc]...so not a free email provider.

Hello BlueBell50,

As the email is originating from the same source each time, it seems that the issue may stem from the sender's end.

If the email doesn't offer an unsubscribe option, you may also choose to block the sender, if desired. This page has details on that process: Block or unblock senders in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Block senders
1. In the Mail app  on your Mac, select a message from the sender you want to block.
2. Move the pointer next to their name in the message header, click the arrow, then choose Block Contact.
The Blocked icon  appears next to the sender’s name in the message list and a banner is added to their messages to indicate they’re blocked. The banner also provides a link to the Blocked pane of Mail settings, where you can manage blocked senders.
You can also add senders directly to the list of blocked senders. Choose Mail > Settings, click Junk Mail, then click Blocked.

Cheers.

Thank you Eric _G1. The first thing I did was block the sender but this just put the emails into the 'bin'. From there I had to constantly check to delete every 22.7mg email to stop them filling up my storage! This really got me down. Anyway, the sender is still blocked but the rule to delete any email from her seems to be working. I occasionally see them still coming through when I'm on my old iPad but they are quickly deleted. I just wonder if they will continue until I die and my email address ceases!!! I appreciate your time.
