For a few months now I don’t have an option to forward events to colleagues on my iOS and macOS. This is true for all accounts and for all events, regardless who invited me. the option just disappeared. tries to update OS version, un sync and re sync my calendars, but nothing works.
I’m running iOS 16.1.1 and macOS 12.6 but the problem occurred before I upgraded to those.
Any clue?

With some Exchange servers, any event attendee can invite other attendees.

To clarify, it sounds like you're using Exchange, and you mentioned this is happening with multiple accounts. Are you saying this happens with multiple Exchange accounts that you're using yourself? Knowing that would help us narrow this down a bit.
Also, even if this has been happening on earlier iOS versions, we do recommend that you update to iOS 16.3. Updates include a number of fixes and improvements, so backing up and updating could help clear this up or to rule out possible causes. Thank you for that answer, these are helpful tips, but unfortunately they don’t work for me. I don’t have an Edit button in any of the events I received.
I used to, but it disappeared. I checked and this is the case for all events I received recently, regardless of source.
my guess in that not all of my colleagues had their Exchange servers setting change at the same time, so something must be wrong at my end.

thank you for your reply. I'm using two Gmail accounts and in both of them I can't add other invitees to events I receive. this happens regardless of who sent me the invites.
I've updated to iOS 16.3 and the problem still persists. the same goes for macOS. I am able to add invitees when using the Gmail web interface.
