My touch screen on my iPhone 12 Pro Max has had dead zones and/ or been non responsive since the most recent updates. I have force reset it many times and even factory reset the iPhone. Nothing helps

I’ve spoken to others with this issue but no one has found a fix yet. The most recent iOS update has thoroughly screwed up the touchscreen on my 12 pro max. I have reset the phone, I have forced it to power cycle multiple times. I can’t turn off the feature where you need to manually type your passcode to open the phone when you turn the power back on, so I couldn’t use my phone at all (because of the dead zones on the touchscreen) for more than a day. Has ANYONE found a way to fix this problem? Will apple be sending out an update to fix this bug for us so that it stops happening?

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

To get started, you've done some great troubleshooting to isolate the issue. Just to confirm, have you also had a chance to go through all the steps listed in the 'Related Article' If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad, that was shared on this thread.

If so then based on the information you've provided, and the steps you've gone through, we would recommend reaching out to Apple Support at this link here: Contact - Official Apple Support

Cheers!
