Have you ever used apple backup to restore your iphone or transfer to a new phone?

Yes. 100% Accurate if all settings are enabled as new device is set up (some settings cannot be saved in iCloud for security reasons).


It can take several hours/days for ALL data to be transferred as there may be hundreds of Gigabytes that need to be transferred. But the phone will be usable during this time as long as you remain connected to WiFi or a strong Cellular connection. Your battery will be drained while this process is occurring as well if you don't have it plugged in already. Especially during use.
