shortcut

I want to create an automation that gives me a "Quote of the day". I've created a list of quotes in the shortcuts automation but can't figure out how to choose the next quote that follows the previous days quote in order for the value to show result on my home screen. Thank you for the support!

While creating alarms in Shortcuts I'm unable to have a variable determine repeat days When using the shortcuts app, is it possible to use a variable to set the repeat or does that have to be done manually? I've tried it and it keep saying "Conversion Error, create Alarm failed because Shortcuts couldn't convert from Text to Day". Ideas? I've even tried passing in date variables but they still keep coming through as date instead of day. Is it possible to create a generic day variable?

Johnny ~ How many quotes in the list?

...Easiest would be 31 and then use the day of the month to get the quote from the list.

Or you could get a random quote from the list. If the generic example below doesn't help, post back with more details of what you want:
