I hooked up my iPhone to a non smart tv using HDMI port cables. I turned off AirPlay on my phone. The video freezes and will not play and AirPlay is connected is displayed on the phone

AirPlay works for about 30 seconds When trying to cast from my iPhone to the TV using AirPlay, whatever I'm casting will play for maybe 15 seconds - then I get a screen that says AirPlay is connected to my phone. My phone also shows that I am playing the video on the TV. I reset AirPlay devices, close the tab on my phone, re-open and connect everything, and the same things happens. I get the video for about 15 seconds, then the same screen saying AirPlay is connected to my phone. Please tell me there is a fix for this!

Airplay Stopped Working (sound only) On iOS 17 Hi, On an iPhone X I updated iOS 16 to 17 and as soon as I did that when using Airplayer (connecting to Apple TV with tvOS 17.1) I now get the sound playing and no video. I tried using a new iPhone 15 with iOS 17.0.2 and that did the same thing. I get the video come up top right with the sound only. An iPad iOS 16 connecting to the same Apple TV works fine below: Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug? Thanks, Alex

Open Control Center by swiping down from the top right-hand corner, tapping on the Airplay tab and tap Stop
