Cover for iPad 9thGeneration

After 12 years i have upgraded my iPad to a 9th Generation. Bought online. I also purchased a smart keyboard as well as a Smart Cover for iPad (9th generation). Can I use both together? I haven't opened the package for the smart Cover since I will return it if it is incompatible with the keyboard attached. Does anyone know?
